The first ever “Koast-to-Koast Kibble Drop” took place between December 13-22, 2011, making stops in Cincinnati, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Washington, DC; Merrick, NY; New York, NY; Greenwich, CT; Kanab, UT; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Portland, OR and Seattle, WA. More than 40 shelters and rescues received a total of 40 tons of Halo’s Spot’s Stew for the holidays. National and local TV, dailies, blogs and radio stations, including Petside, Newsday, Dogster, Catchannel.com, KGO-TV in San Francisco and many more, happily shared news of the exciting journey with an audience of nearly 4 million.
